Stephen Smith

Stephen graduated from BYU with a degree in Economics and a minor in Business. His career began at Charles Schwab in Austin, Texas, where he earned his Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses. After Schwab, he joined Navigate Private Wealth ($500M AUM), where he has been an advisor for the past seven years.

At Navigate, Stephen plays a key role on the investment committee and developed a proprietary risk-efficiency framework that transformed portfolio construction and directly drove the firm's top-performing positions. He also spearheaded the introduction of alternative investments including venture capital, private equity, and private real estate.

Stephen is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Ollin Ventures, where he leads fund management and deal flow across early-stage technology investments. At Ollin, Stephen applies the same disciplined approach he honed at Navigate — focusing on diversification, portfolio construction, due diligence, and building founder relationships that compound over time — aiming to deliver durable long-term value for LPs.
